I turned 26 yesterday (yay 2nd quarter life crisis!) and I started thinking about all the things that I still want to do, adventures I want to have, things I want to see, so I came up with a list of things I wanted to do before I turn 30. I want the rest of my 20s to be fun, exciting, and more memorable than ever!
I’ve obviously attended the festival many times before (like just recently!) but my dream is to attend because I’m in a film that’s playing there! To have a successful film at Sundance is a gateway and spring board to other amazing projects and opportunities as an actor, and to be a part of a community that cherishes quality, original films would be the highest honor for me.
I’m sure you guys have seen this picture circulate on Pinterest, and for good reason! It’s an awesome idea and a great way to commemorate a journey across this wonderful country. I’ve only been to a handful of states and would absolutely love to see more. And best believe I’m going to make a map like this!
There are still so many places around the world that I want to go: Paris, Scotland, Argentina, Machu Pichu, you name it! I know I have a whole lifetime to travel, but if I could see more of the world before I turn 30, I think it’ll make me a more knowledgable and mature person.
Okay, this one mostly stems from my love of Titanic, but if I’m gonna get sketched naked, I may as well do it when I’m young!!
Buying a home would be the ultimate adult-y thing I could do, I think (short of having a child). It is a tremendous responsibility and mark of a successful person. I would love to be able to do that before 30.
I love doing what I do, and I want to keep doing it! My goal is to not only help others with this blog but to also fund my Hollywood dreams and aspirations at the same time. A win-win if you ask me!
Walking the red carpet? Yeah, add that to the bucket list.
Being nominated for an award? I may have a to wait a little bit longer than four years to accomplish that, but to be invited to a ceremony would be pretty sweet.
There are only a handful of people in my life that I look up to so much that whatever they say and do makes me want to jump out of my seat and achieve my goals. If I can be that for at least one other person, I’ll be happy.
I’ve got four years (as long as a President) to accomplish these goals and make a change in my life. I can’t wait to see where this next step takes me!
